Fill in the company, employee and pay details and watch the payslip update as you type. Then download it as a PDF. The payslip is built in your browser, so no salary data is sent to our servers.
A payslip, also called a salary slip or pay stub, is the employer's record of what an employee earned in a pay period, what was deducted and what was paid. Employees need it for loan and rental applications, visa files, tax returns and simply checking that they were paid correctly. For the employer, it is proof of what was paid.
In India, many employers must issue wage slips. The requirement comes from state Shops and Establishments rules, the Minimum Wages rules and now the labour codes that consolidate them. The required format differs by state. Many other countries also require a written pay statement. Check the rules that apply where the employee works.
Yes. There is no signup and no limit on how many payslips you create. A small "Made with ADMINFACE" line is added at the bottom of the payslip by default; you can switch it off before downloading.
No. The payslip is built entirely in your browser and nothing is sent to our servers. Your last entries are remembered in this browser only, so next month's payslip is quicker. Use "Reset" to clear them.
Click "Download PDF" and an A4 PDF of the payslip downloads straight away, named after the employee and the month. The PDF is created in your browser, so nothing is uploaded. If the PDF library cannot load, for example on a restricted network, the button opens your browser's print dialog instead, where you can choose "Save as PDF".
At minimum: the employer's name and address, the employee's name, ID and designation, the pay period, each earning and deduction with its amount, gross earnings, total deductions and net pay. Paid days and loss-of-pay days, the pay date and statutory numbers such as PAN and UAN are also common in India.
Gross pay is the total of all earnings before anything is deducted. Net pay, or take-home pay, is what reaches the employee's bank account after deductions such as provident fund, professional tax, ESI and income tax (TDS).
Enter the days in the pay period and the LOP days, so the payslip shows paid days. Then either reduce the earnings to the pro-rated amounts, or add a "Loss of pay" line under deductions. Both approaches are common; use whichever your payroll policy follows.
