Digital business cards

QR code business cards that save straight to the phone

Most paper business cards end up in a drawer, and the details never make it into anyone's phone. Put a QR code on the card instead: one scan opens your contact page, one tap saves every number, email and address — spelled correctly.

No credit card at signup. No trial clock. Your organisation gets its own isolated database.

What you get

A contact card people actually keep

QR Contacts is one of the modules in ADMINFACE. Make one card or one for every employee.

One-tap Save contact

Scanning opens a contact page with a Save contact button that adds the name, phone numbers, emails, address, website and photo to the phone's contacts.

Dynamic QR codes

The code points to your card, not to the details themselves. Change a phone number or job title and every printed card shows the new details — no reprint.

Your logo in the QR

Design the code itself: colours, gradients, dot and corner shapes, and your company logo in the middle. Save styles and reuse them across cards.

Six page designs

Classic, Modern, Minimal, Banner, Dark or Split, in your colours and font, with an optional cover photo. Choose which sections show and in what order.

More than a contact

Add extra buttons and links, opening hours with an "Open now" badge, a photo gallery, downloadable documents such as a price list, a video and a map.

Scan statistics

See how many times each card was opened and saved, per day — without storing visitors' IP addresses or device details.

How it works

From sign-up to printed cards

One card takes a few minutes. A whole team takes one CSV file.

1

Create your organisation

Sign up free and get your own ADMINFACE workspace. No card and no sales call.

2

Add your cards

Fill in a card by hand, import a CSV, or create cards straight from your employee records.

3

Style the QR and the page

Add your logo to the code, pick a page design, and set one company default so every card matches.

4

Download or print

Download each code as an image, a vector file or a print-ready file, or print a sheet of ten business cards with cut lines.

The problem with paper business cards

A business card does its job only if the details end up somewhere useful. In practice, the person you met has to type your name, number and email into their phone by hand — so most never do, and the ones who do sometimes get a digit wrong. When your number changes, every card you have handed out is quietly out of date.

A QR code fixes both problems. Scanning takes a second with any phone camera, and the contact page it opens has a Save contact button that creates a complete, correctly spelled contact in one tap. Because the code points to your card rather than containing the details, you can update the card whenever you like and the code you already printed keeps working.

What someone sees when they scan

A clean, mobile-first contact page in your company's colours: photo, name, job title and company at the top, then quick buttons to call, WhatsApp, email or get directions, followed by whatever else you choose to show.

  • Save contact — downloads a standard contact card (vCard) that iPhone and Android phones open straight into their contacts app.
  • Every way to reach you — mobile, alternate and office numbers, WhatsApp, two emails, website, full address and social profiles.
  • Extra buttons and links — "Book an appointment", "Download brochure", "Leave a review", or anything else, up to eight.
  • Opening hours — with an automatic "Open now" or "Closed" badge in your organisation's time zone.
  • Gallery and documents — up to twelve photos of your work or products and up to five files to download.
  • Video and map — a YouTube or Vimeo video and a Google map of your location, loaded only on cards that use them.

The page sets no cookies, shows no ads and carries no "powered by" badge — it looks like your company's own page.

Built for a whole team, not just one person

Single-person QR generators work well for a freelancer. A company needs every employee's card to look the same, be correct, and be switched off when someone leaves. That is where QR Contacts is different:

  • Company QR styles and page designs. Set a default once; every card follows it. Change the default and every card updates — even ones already printed.
  • Cards from employee records. Create cards for selected employees in one step, filled in from their name, designation, department, email and phone.
  • CSV import. Bring in contacts from a spreadsheet, with a preview before anything is saved.
  • Staff self-service, if you want it. Admin and HR manage every card; you can also let employees create and edit their own.
  • Switch a card off. Mark a card inactive when someone leaves, and their QR shows "unavailable" instead of their old details — without deleting anything.
  • Print sheets. Tick several cards and print business cards ten to a page, or plain QR codes, with cut lines. Save as PDF from the print dialog for a print shop.
No subscription holding your codes hostage: many dynamic QR generators stop your codes working when a paid plan lapses. QR Contacts is part of the free ADMINFACE plan, with no per-card fee — the codes keep working for as long as your account and the card are active.

Beyond business cards

The same card works anywhere someone might want your details: a sticker on a reception desk, the back of a brochure, a stand at a trade fair, an email signature, a delivery van, product packaging or a shop window. Because you can add opening hours, a gallery, a map and documents, a single card can work as a small landing page for a branch or a product line, not only for a person.

Part of a bigger workspace

QR Contacts sits inside ADMINFACE, alongside employee records, attendance, leave, payroll, tasks, leads and customer chat. Your team's cards come from the same employee list HR already maintains, so a new joiner can have a card on their first day and a leaver's card can be switched off as part of exit.

What it does not do

QR Contacts is not a printing service — you print the cards yourself or send the PDF to a print shop. It does not collect leads from people who scan (there is no form on the contact page), and its statistics count scans and saves rather than identifying who scanned. If you need NFC cards or lead capture at events, a dedicated digital business card product will suit you better.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. QR Contacts is included in the free ADMINFACE plan, with no fee per card or per scan. The free plan shows ads inside the logged-in ADMINFACE app — never on your public contact pages.

Can I change my details after the cards are printed?

Yes. Every code is dynamic: it points to your card's page, not to the details themselves. Edit the card and anyone who scans an already-printed code sees the new details.

Does Save contact work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. The button downloads a standard vCard contact file, which both iPhone and Android open in their contacts app so the person can save it in one more tap.

Can I put my company logo in the QR code?

Yes. Upload your logo and it sits in the middle of the code. You can also choose colours, gradients and dot and corner shapes, and save the result as a reusable style. The code stays scannable because a high level of error correction is used when a logo is present.

Can I make cards for all my employees at once?

Yes. Create cards straight from your employee records in one step, or import a CSV file. Each card can belong to the employee's login so they can keep it up to date themselves, if you allow staff self-service.

What happens when an employee leaves?

Mark their card inactive. The printed QR then shows that the card is unavailable instead of their old details, and you can reactivate or delete it later. Contacts that people already saved to their phones are outside anyone's control.

Do you track the people who scan?

No personal tracking. Statistics count opens and Save contact taps per day. To count unique visitors a short code is kept that changes every day and cannot be turned back into an IP address or device; no IP addresses or browser details are stored, and the page sets no cookies.
